Last night at BK Lounge

The crowd that gathered at Burger King last night, was quite large last night. The band consisted of Gordon Riley on lead guitar, Garry Bichelmeyer on guitar and banjo,  Mary Bichelmeyer on bass, Marvin Bredemeier on fiddle, and Marvin Gregg on drums. Ron Fine joined them playing guitar.

Unfortunately, we found out that Larry Inman’s brother passed away. Services for James “J.D.” Inman will be held at 1pm Saturday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka, Ks 66608.  Visitation is Friday night from 6-8pm.  Cards of condolence can be sent to the Inman’s, 32435 W. 91 Street, De Soto, Ks 66018

Another fun night at BK Lounge

The regular crowd gathered at Burger King last night. The band consisted of Gordon Riley on lead guitar, Garry Bichelmeyer on guitar and banjo,  Marvin Bredemeier on fiddle, and Marvin Gregg on drums. Ron Fine joined them playing guitar and Chuck Yates played bass guitar.

Mary Bichelmeyer was in Kentucky helping her sister. So Chuck stood in for her.

Guests were Bud Martley and Jerome Oberle.

Larry & Rosie Inman surprised all of us by coming in about 8:30 pm in disguise. Both wearing wigs. It took the crowd a little while to figure out who they were. Larry joined the band for a few songs.

Join us next Tuesday, March 11th, at Burger King @ 95 & Quivira 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
